Following another successful term, we’re excited to continue the Young Athletes Programme for Tamariki (aged approximately 2-10) with intellectual disabilities in Wellington through Term 4.
Join our free and inclusive 6-week programme tailored for children with intellectual disabilities, aged approximately 2-10 years old.
Young Athletes introduces children to fundamental motor and sports skills, such as running, kicking, and throwing. Young Athletes also focuses on social skills, helping children interact with each other and develop communication, learning and interpersonal skills.
The programme commences Saturday 2nd November, with sessions in the Hutt Valley (Taita College) in the morning and Porirua (Venue TBC) in the afternoon.
