Once again we have secured a Special Olympics Horizons Course with Outward Bound which will run Saturday 26 August to Saturday 2 September. This is a fantastic opportunity for our athletes who are ready for this next step in their personal and leadership development. This 8 day course is an adapted tailored course, specifically for those with intellectual disabilities 18 years and over, including activities from sailing and canoeing through to high ropes. Attached are all the details, registration requirements and funding options. Please share this with across your Clubs and athletes and encourage them to send through forms for those who would benefit and suit this opportunity. Though the course is in August – there are only 12 positions available so we recommend you get in as early as possible – no time is too soon!
