Chris is the first to admit he “leads a busy life”. The Special Olympics Otago athlete plays basketball, indoor rowing, tenpin bowling and football (soccer) in both Special Olympics New Zealand and mainstream teams; coaches bowling and indoor soccer; and recently took over running his local tenpin bowling league.
Chris lives with his partner and their two-year-old daughter, Sophie, in their own home. He also works full-time at New Zealand Wood Moulding Company in Mosgiel from 5.30am–2.30pm.
His goals for the next year are to push himself further in indoor rowing and set a new personal best, and to return his bowling score average to 152.
